Join us for the 1st of 12 Masterclasses at Drums Etc! Every month, we are hosting a different expert to share their expertise during hands-on educational workshops! This is one of many new ventures for Drums Etc in the new year. Each masterclass will be an intimate, ticketed event where you can ask questions, participate in demos, and get specialized advice and guidance!

This Masterclass will cover the basic construction of the entire drum set: How it’s assembled, maintained, and modified. This will include information and real-time demonstration of changing heads, snare wires, and more! A full drum set assembly will also include a few tuning techniques and training for quickly and efficiently getting a great sound out of your drums. Also, drum set ergonomics will be discussed as a drum set is fully set up to best fit the player. This portion will include focuses on angles, height adjustments and posture.

This class is designed for every drummer who is looking for either an introductory lesson in drum set set-up and maintenence or an experienced player looking to fill in the gaps of their drumming insecurities and/or lack of knowledge about the gear. All are welcome : There are no dumb questions : Everyone should have this knowledge to properly approach the drum set

The Masterclass will take place at the store (2503 Lititz Pk, Lancaster PA). There are no items required to bring; However, if you have a drum or two that require tuning/assistance, bring them along!
