About the event

Join us for an unforgettable Masterclass at Drums Etc! Every month, we are hosting a different expert to share their expertise during hands-on educational workshops! This is one of many new ventures for Drums Etc in 2024. Each masterclass will be an intimate, ticketed event where you can ask questions, participate in demos, and get specialized advice and guidance!

This Djembe Reheading Masterclass is a 100% comprehensive, step-by-step guide through the process of reheading rope tuned djembes. Ed and Adam will simultaneously guide attendees through the process while interjecting their own personal experiences and tips/tricks to assist others in learning the skill. Although the knowledge will be presented in a course-style, djembe players who have no interest in attempting the process are welcome to come too! Part of learning your craft as a musician is attaining comprehensive knowledge of the construction of your instrument. This is a fantastic, low pressure, educational way to do that! See you there!
