Hey, I'm George. Thanks for looking! :-) These profile things don't do people justice, so why not come hear me play sometime. I play almost every Sunday morning at New Life City Church 41 Caroline St in Lancaster City. The kit there isnt that great, so if you want to jam, I have a better kit in my basement in Mount Joy. Looking to play drums for fun, but I'm not opposed to making a couple of bucks at a gig or two. Who knows? Maybe something can work out? I love playing, and have been playing since I was 13 (thats about 26 years). I still have lots to learn though. I may not have the best chops, but I am told I am a very musical drummer. I would love to audition for a real band too.
If I were to have a "Rock-n-Roll Dream", it would be to tour (at least locally) in an 80s Christian Rock cover band. Maybe doing gigs in churches on Friday or Saturday Nights; Reviving the music from the 80s from Mylon & Broken Heart, White Cross, Keith Green, DeGarmo & Key, Petra, Stryper, Whiteheart, and the likes, but also incorporating modern worship music. Other influences include but are not limited to (and in no particular order) are Van Halen, Yanni, Dave Matthews Band, Carbon Leaf, Chris Tomlin, Israel Houghton, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Imperials, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Evanessence, Meatloaf, Caedmons Call, Hillsong, Rush, Bon Jovi, All sorts of Classical Music, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Vanessa Mae, Guns-n-Roses, gosh, lots of different types of music!
